This dataset has a spatial reference of [WGS 84 =\nGDA94] and can NOT be easily consumed into GDA2020 environments. A similar\nservice with a \u2018multiCRS\u2019 suffix is available which can support GDA2020, GDA94\nand WGS84 = GDA2020 environments. In due course, and allowing time for user\nfeedback and testing, it is intended that these original services will adopt\nthe new multiCRS functionally.
NSW Land Parcel\nand Property Theme\u00a0Unidentified\u00a0is\na polygon feature that represents a parcel of land that is unidentified.\u00a0Parcel\u00a0polygons are\u00a0defined\u00a0by a series of boundary\nlines that store recorded dimensions as attributes in the lines table. It visualises\nthese boundaries of land parcels, often\nbuildings on land, the parcel identifier, and basic\u00a0topographic\u00a0features.
NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme provides\nthe\u00a0foundation\u00a0fabric of\nland\u00a0ownership.\u00a0 It\u00a0consists of the\ndigital cadastral database and associated parcel and property\ninformation.

Cadastral\u00a0Fabric\u00a0\u2013 Unidentified
\n\n\u00a0\u00a0Unidentified: Represents a parcel of land that cannot be identified. Crown land,\nvested, dedicated and severed land may be included in this category as well as\nOld System lots for which lot/DP identification cannot be found. This dataset\nalso identifies the locations of 100ft wide reserves, ACT regions, closed\nroads, crossings, surveyed areas, and un-surveyed areas.
\n\nLand and property data underpins the economic, social and environmental fabric\nof NSW and is used, amongst other things, to:

Spatial\nServices continuously updates the Land Parcel and Property theme with\ninformation sourced from relevant stakeholders and custodians. The majority of\nupdates to the datasets in this theme originate from subdivision, registration\nand gazettal activity.
The data\nis up to date to within 10 working days from when a plan is lodged at NSW Land\nRegistry Services. Data is also sourced from Crown Lands, the Office of\nEnvironment and Heritage, the Aboriginal Land Council, Local Land Services, the\nElectoral Commission and NSW Trade and Investment.
The Cadastral\nupgrade program commenced in 2007 and is ongoing, improving the spatial\naccuracy of different feature classes. Upgrades are carried out in consultation\nwith the relevant Local Government Authority and are further facilitated\nthrough the incorporation of data provided by external agencies. Upgrade\npositional accuracy varies across the state and generally ranges from less than\n5m from true position in rural areas to less than 0.2m from true position in\nurban areas, dependent on the survey control available.
Data\nquality for both Cadastral Maintenance and Cadastral Upgrade activities are\nassured through specification compliance and data topology rules. The client\ndelivery database is automatically updated each evening with the changes that\noccurred that day in the maintenance environment.

Accuracy\u00a0 | The dataset maintains a positional relationship to, and alignment with, the Lot and Property digital datasets. This dataset was captured by digitising the best available cadastral mapping at a variety of scales and accuracies, ranging from 1:500 to 1:250 000 according to the National Mapping Council of Australia, Standards of Map Accuracy (1975). Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 = 50m. A program of positional upgrade (accuracy improvement) is currently underway.\u00a0\u00a0 |
