Environmental overview : volume II : Fladbury, Beardy Waters and Dandahra Creek Bridges : Severn Shire and Glenn Innes Councils

RTA Environmental Technology, as part of RTA Operations has been commissioned to prepare the environmmental overview for the proposed refurbishment or replacement of three bridges, near Glen Innes. The overview relates to Fladbury Bridge approximately 30km north of Glen Innes on the Glen Innes to Emmaville Road and, Beardy Waters and Dandahra Creek Bridges which are located on the Gwydir Highway approximately 7km and 68km from Glen Innes respectively. Fladbury Bridge was constructed in 1910 and is a fourteen span single lane low level timber bridge on concrete piers. Both Beardy Waters and Dandahra Creek Bridges are two lane narrow timber beam bridges which were constructed in 1952.
