AGC Woodward-Clyde Pty Limited (Woodward-Clyde) was engaged by Sinclair Knight Merz in June 1997 to undertake a preliminary Flora and Fauna Assessment for the preferred route corridor of the proposed duplication and deviation of the Pacific Highway between Billinudgel (Yelgun) and Chinderah. Field sampling for this report was undertaken from June 1997 to September 1997 and a draft report produced in December 1997. Information contained within this report contributed to the final selection of a preferred route within the identified corridor area. The refinement of the route and a subsequent review of the original report by Landmark Ecological Services Pty Ltd identified the requirement for further field survey.
