The RTA proposes to undertake safety improvements to the existing alignment of the Great Western Highway at Lapstone Hill between Mount Street and Governors Drive. Most works would take place within the road reserve, and on the south of the highway. Additionally, a shoulder would be constructed on the northern side of the highway between Mount Street and Knapsack Street.
