Data Notes:

  • In 2012, the School Certificate was discontinued and replaced by the Record of School Achievement (RSA). The RSA is a record of a student’s achievements from Year 10 until they leave school. For data on the Record of School Achievement see https://data.cese.nsw.gov.au/data/dataset/number-of-students-achieving-the-record-of-school-achievement

  • The School Certificate is awarded by the Board of Studies NSW to eligible students at the end of Year 10. The School Certificate Record of Achievement shows all Stage 5 (Years 9 and 10) courses and School Certificate courses completed.
